Our Story
At the heart of our journey is resilience, creativity, and connecting heritage to modern day. In May 2019, we opened Moti Cafe in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. When the pandemic hit less than a year later, we—like many—faced a difficult and uncertain future.
But challenges often spark innovation. As we transitioned Moti Cafe to a takeout-only model, we closely followed evolving food trends and noticed one undeniable fact: pizza was booming. That moment of insight led to a simple but powerful idea—what if we reimagined pizza through the bold, vibrant lens of South Asian flavors?
That question launched a whole new concept and became the foundation of our philosophy: stay rooted in tradition, but never stop innovating. We believe great food tells a story—of where we’ve come from, what we’ve overcome, and where we’re going next.
